Components of Tutoring
While tutoring is highly individualized and is a collaborative process, here are some components often used in tutoring sessions together:
Content Review
Learning/reviewing the “WHY” so that you can confidently apply your knowledge and critical thinking skills.
Test-taking Strategies
Work through pulling apart NCLEX style questions and implementing test-taking strategies so you can confidently pick the “best” or “most right” answer choice.
Create a Study Schedule/Plan
Do you struggle knowing when and how to most effectively to spend your time studying? We’ll not only work to use our in-session time effectively, but we can make a plan for success outside of our sessions too!
Support in Managing Test-taking Anxiety
Learn the impact that stress and anxiety can make in your studies and find support and learn tools to utilize in helping manage and calm the anxiety.
